How big is too big?

So, not so much comment love on the last post, huh? I actually thought the story was funny but maybe it was one of those you had to be there type things. Oh well.

For the last several years, I have really loved big sunglasses. HUGE ones. Obnoxiously so, in most cases. Its just the trend, and I've embraced it. However, I do have an abnormally small head so it usually makes my sunnies seem even bigger than they actually are. I've bought a few new pairs recently, and I want some feedback.

Are these too big? As always, please be honest. You're not going to offend me and I'll probably wear them regardless of what yall say.

This first pair, I have had for quite a while. Actually I think the longest I've ever kept a pair of sunglasses -- over a year for sure. Maybe two. Anyway, that isn't the point. The point is that I've had these for a long time but I still wonder if they're slightly too big?

These may not be too big, but I'm just not really sure how I feel about the aviator look on me. Also, are aviators even in style anymore?

I decided to smile for all of you in this last picture! These are my newest pair. And I think these are the worst of the bunch. How silly do I actually look? I sent a similar picture of me wearing them to my mom and her response was a polite "maybe they are okay for the beach, but I'm not so sure about them for just wearing around". i.e. "THROW. THEM. AWAY. NOW, KATIE!"

Oh and just for the record, I wasn't driving in these pictures .... just sitting in my car. But I came up with the idea while I was driving so once I got back to my office, I took them in the parking lot. (So that explains the seat belt)

Also, I know my face is shiny. I need some powder.

Who was the dude sitting on the hood of your car taking these pictures?

I like that you have posed as if you are driving...to give us an idea of how these look in action;-)

I should start by saying that I do not beleive sunglasses can be too big...HUGE fan of oversized glasses.

Love the first ones. Partially because I am even more a fan of opaque oversized glasses...totally move star.

Not loving those aviators. I still wear them, but again...I like them to be less see-through. I think you may look better in the same glasses if they wrapped a little more around your eyes and stuck out to the sides less?

I sorta like the third ones, although they would be better if they were darker:-). And, you should never smile while wearing oversized glasses...it ruins the mysterious "I am too cool to be seen" vibe that makes them so neat:-)

And that is all the feedback I have on sunglasses for today:-)

You are so channeling Posh in the first pic. I like those - they are big, but they don't overwhelm your face. I really like aviators and I don't think they are out of style, so the second pair gets a thumbs up as well. The third pair might be a little too big.

1st ones are okay---maybe a little big. LOVE the 2nd ones. The 3rd HAVE to go! TOO big!

I agree with AM on all of the selections, no such thing as too big and not the biggest fan of aviators. Keep the other two for sure.

I have the opposite problem. I have a huge noggin so aviators are always in style with me.

The first ones are a little large.....kind of have that fly look going on.

In the first picture, you look like you're about to get out of your car and get rough on the person that is stealing knives and such from your office. You look pissed.

I like them all.

I think it depends on what you are going for. If they are all functional, I like the first ones the best for the day. I like the second ones best for that early evening into the night time when you don't mind if people see your eyes. The lenses are a little too transparent for the day.

The 3rd pair aren't throw away bad, but they should only be worn if you temporarily misplace the first pair.

You're no Nicole Ritchie, but you do have a small head. =) Having said that, I like #1 and #3, despite what your mom says. I never was a fan of aviator glasses...

By the way, my word verification today is butfacu. Does that mean Butt Face You? If so, don't take it personally, it's only a computer. ha.
